With the new year approaching, we looked through our vault for some of our favorite moments from 2020. Each photo below reflects how hard work, integrity and innovation has enabled us to be strong and keep moving towards our vision – To create and build a better living for all.

January

Global CamStar (GCS) welcomed the new year by celebrating five years of being a leading distributor of world-class building materials. We loved seeing everyone stand up to toast the company’s accomplishment as the confetti sliced through the air.

February

Seen grinning ear to ear, here is Mr. Kosal Meas, Fuxin Accountant, at the company’s annual general assembly. “I’m proud to be a part of a company that always seeks to do better and lifts up their employees along way,” said Mr. Kosal, reflecting on the yearly meeting.

March

At our International Women’s day event, one of our female employees pledged to be a future leader and join the global effort to improve gender diversity in the boardroom. We’re proud to see our people aspire to become future leaders.

April

Mr. Kang Leng, ISI GROUP CEO, and generous private donors raised funds to purchase essential COVID-19 testing equipment for the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC). We’re touched to see how the collective efforts can help us all overcome challenges.

May

Not all heroes wear capes. Some carry a basket full of nutritious meals wrapped in biodegradable packaging for people in need. This daily food donation is a part of an initiative created by Treeline Urban Resort and other local partners to support people affected by the pandemic in Siem Reap.

June

Seen here is the Phsar Deum Kor footbridge, held strong by Fuxin’s high-quality steel frames. Situated near the busy market area, the footbridge was built to improve traffic and pedestrian safety.

With ISI GROUP’s resources, Mekong Homes created their new flat house model, offering a solution to working, middle-class families looking for a vibrant, suburban lifestyle.

August

Born from our member company SmallWorld Venture, KOOMPI launched their all-new, student-focused laptop model to improve youth access to tech. Talk about staying true to your roots!

September

Captured here are ISI GROUP and Urbanland leaders, including Mr. Hok Kang, Urbanland Founder & Managing Director, at the 2020 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards. Mr. Hok was honored with the Cambodia Real Estate Personality of the Year Award for setting a new benchmark for building quality and design in Cambodia.

October

Milestones deserve celebration. Codingate’s monthly pitch day honors their staff’s project achievements, giving their people an opportunity to explore cutting-edge tech solutions and share knowledge.

November

ISI GROUP and Urbanland held a topping off ceremony for ISI Tower and K Mall. The two buildings are a part of Urbanland’s KMH Park master plan, which is set to change the face of the Chom Chao District.

December

Wrapping the year up, a snapshot of the beginning of our 1 Million Trees Program. In cooperation with our member companies and partners, we are working to plant and conserve one million trees to help create and build a greener Cambodia.
